This song came about from multi tracking a bunch of vocals to help come up with riffs and new ideas for the guitar.
It feels a bit like 'Faith No More' meets 'Silversun Pickups'... Dramatic and powerful, with a million soaring vocals and a gazillion dirty guitars.
Duncan Yardley gave it that extra glissando with his amazing violin work (which made things shine just that little bit more) and once again, Joseph Cunliffe drives the drums on this track home like a train conductor obsessed with the precision of time.
Nick Edin meticulously recorded and mixed this beauty (i think quite a few times), while Shane Jarvie-Kohn mastered it and brought it to life and its full potential.
Thanks to everyone involved and everyone who has supported the Nathan Detroit Band. This is the last release for the year but i'll be back releasing new goodies in 2022. Buy a tune for ya Uncle.X
